"Genius" Part 1

I was chatting with an elder the other day, a stranger while waiting in line.

In our rattling on about first one thing and then the other, he quipped, "they" have "messed up everything."

I began reciting to him the lyrics to this song, "Look what man, has done. Discovered the moon was only stone. But, I was so happy, believin' it was made of cheese."

I told him on Friday, that I was sure it wasn't online because I had checked. He had mentioned having been a musician and composer himself, and that some of his songs are online.

With that, I'm pleasantly surprised to come across it this time, and really, finding it is like striking gold. That is, because it was such an obscure song that noone seemed to care very much about. It didn't make the charts.

I'm ecstatic to spot it here for as long as it's at the tube - and I'm sorry now that I didn't get more info from him (since he seemed pretty online savvy) so that I could have provided this better introduction to "Genius."

It is one of my absolute favorites of all time.
